Aku Women’s Minima – Sneakers

Sustainability has a new name: the Women’s Minima by AKU! This elegant trainer is reminiscent of the traditional shape of a mountaineering boot. The shoe is ideal for use in the city and when travelling. The special feature of the shoe: both the upper and the lining are made of one hundred percent Zero Impact leather, which is produced by an environmentally friendly tanning process free of chrome and heavy metals.

The shoe has been designed with the aim of reducing leather waste during manufacture by reusing it in various production components. And the CO2 emissions generated during the minimum life cycle are offset by support for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Neutrality (UNFCCC) initiatives.

AKU uses the so-called Vibram Predator II for the outsole of this shoe, which boasts outstanding traction and grip on a wide variety of terrains. And there’s no shortage of comfort either – thanks to the EVA/cork midsole. So every step is softly cushioned – even after miles of walking. Sustainable, comfortable, stylish: the Women’s Minima!
