Versatile and breathable mountaineering boots
The Cross Mountain GTX from Kayland feel at home on almost any terrain. These versatile mountaineering boots are particularly suitable for demanding hut-to-hut or trekking tours, but will also accompany you competently over many a glacier. Their upper is made from a leather-synthetic blend and is relatively insensitive to external influences. A scree protection rim around the boots offers additional protection in case of frequent rock contact. Inside the shoes, a breathable GORE-TEX membrane also ensures a consistently pleasant foot climate.
Sole compatible with semi-automatic crampons
The sole has been specially adapted to the requirements of alpine terrain and offers you an impressive grip on a wide variety of surfaces. Plus, you even benefit from a small climbing zone in the toe area. Practical advice: due to the rear sole edge and its comparatively high level of stiffness, the sole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons. So you can still fit crampons that have a basket at the front and a toggle at the back. Thanks to the wide 3-zone lacing, you can easily adapt the Cross Mountain GTX boots to your own personal foot shape, therefore avoiding the formation of irritating pressure points.
The highlights at a glance:
- Durable upper with a scree protection rim
- Breathable thanks to GORE-TEX
